Who?

I asked a question almost 50 years ago and the answer is
yet to be revealed to me. I am and was regularly told that
Jesus was evidentially alive 3 days after dying and that
43 days after dying, Jesus returned to his fathers side.
What I want to know and have done for close to fifty
years, is: if God gave his ONLY begotten son to the
World, who was the person walking and talking with
several differing friends and disciples for 40 days?
